Book Review: Beautiful Mistake by Vi Keeland

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.

He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.
When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight — telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, ego-maniacal ass.

You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend - smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.
He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.
Only it turned out, the man I'd just told off wasn't the right guy.

Oops. My mistake.

Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.
I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?
That’s what I thought… until I walked into class the next morning.
Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.
I’ll be working under you… figuratively speaking.
Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing — working under, Professor West.

This was going to be interesting…

This story was more than your traditional student/teacher romp fest. This story had edge, and spirit, and it packed a little bit of a bite. Caine and Rachel were fated for each other. I wish I could tell you all the reasons why, but I refuse to spoil this amazing book for all of you.
Just know this—
Their chemistry is INSANE!
Even when they aren’t trying, they pack on the heat. That’s not all though. They also keep each other grounded, and provide each other with whatever missing piece they’re currently missing. I loved this couple so much.
That’s not all, the support characters were amazing too! Charlie is totally my favorite.
This story hits some dark, and deep, notes, and the angst is thick. You gets to really feel these characters out, and see them thrive despite pasts that were meant to tear them down. This book has all the feels, and it’s wonderful in every way. I loved this book, and I’m so excited to recommend it to every romance reader I know. You should ABSOLUTELY read this dang book!
